Take up the challenge to walk, run or cycle a set distance to raise funds for Caritas Australia.
Every day, millions of individuals around the world need to cover many kilometres to fetch water, obtain food, get to school or market, or flee from natural disaster or conflict. In an act of solidarity, we are encouraging schools, parishes and organisations to host a Caritas Ks or Walk for Water event.
The Caritas Ks Toolkit includes a guide to running your Caritas Ks event, an event poster, markers to use around the course/track, case study posters to help raise awareness, a Certificate of Appreciation and an individual sponsor form.

Learn MoreThis photo storybook shares Ronita's story.
Ronita is 22. She lives with her husband and two children in Metro Manila, the Philippines. Ronita left school early to start her family which made it very difficult to find a good job. Thankfully she heard about a program run by Caritas Australia’s local partner, the Faithful Companions of Jesus (FCJ). Ronita was able to join the Alternative Learning System program. Completing this program was a pathway back to senior school where she completed her senior school certificate. Ronita now has a job and is able to support her family.
