Tereesa is a Gamilaroi woman from Western Sydney who struggled with homelessness while raising her four children. Through the Baabayn Young Mums and Bubs Group, Tereesa was able to reconnect with her culture and create a better future for her children.

This short film shares Priscilla's story.
Priscilla lives with her husband and two of their grandchildren in Zimbabwe. The impacts of climate change such as drought, poor quality soils and high temperatures have made it much harder to grow enough food. With the support of Caritas Australia’s partner in Zimbabwe, Priscilla has learnt new ways to farm so she and her community can be more resilient to climate change and grow enough food to eat and sell.

This short film shares Thu's story.
Thu lives with his wife in Vietnam. When Thu was 12 years old, he lost his leg when he stepped on a land mine. With the support of Caritas Australia’s partner in Vietnam, Thu was able to open a barber shop to earn an income and support his wife as she revoers from a stroke. The program also supports Thu and others living with a disability to come together to socialise, support and learn from each other.
