Snapshot of our impact in 2023-2024
In 2023-24, Caritas Australia directly reached a total of 1,097,941 people worldwide, along with 1,804,915 indirect participants.
Of this number, 542,181 people were supported through our humanitarian efforts in response to 30 emergencies.
A total of 514,014 people were directly supported through our international development projects around the world.
We accompanied 74 partners to deliver 87 long-term development and humanitarian emergencies programs across 36 countries.

Africa
Working with our partners in Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, Togo and Zimbabwe across 15 development programs, we supported 553,995 direct and indirect participants across the region.

Pacific
Working with our partners in Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Samoa and Tonga across 7 development programs, we supported 107,193 direct and indirect participants across the region.

Asia
Working with our partners in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, Timor-Leste, Thailand and Vietnam across 28 development programs, we supported 1,027,716 direct and indirect participants across the region.
