Friendship and solidarity key themes in Pope Francis’ letter

On Sunday, 4th October, Pope Francis released the third encyclical letter of his pontificate: Fratelli Tutti (Brothers and Sisters All), focussing on the ideas of friendship and human solidarity.

Particularly relevant during the time of COVID-19, Archbishop Mark Coleridge, President of the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference explains that some of the critiques Pope Francis offers in the document are ones that can cause people in Australia to recognise challenges that must be faced.
