Ethiopia has been experiencing a long-term drought which is devastating communities and leaving many of the most vulnerable families at risk of hunger and starvation. We are working with our partners on-the-ground to support communities to tackle hunger and improve access to clean water.

Population: 120.3 million people
We work with our partner Caritas Ethiopia/Ethiopian Catholic Church Social and Development Commission (ECC-SDCO) to support communities suffering from repeated drought, conflict-driven crisis and high rates of waterborne diseases in the southern part of Ethiopia.
The project will help work with communities to improve their access to clean water and sanitation, reduce the impact of disaster risks on communities and support families to have sufficient food for consumption and growth.
Families can access clean water and reduce the risk of waterborne diseases.
Farmers can grow crops during droughts and are less reliant on rain-fed agriculture.
Communities can adapt to the impacts of climate change.
Women and young people can access income-generating opportunities.
Your donation today can help support long-term programs in Ethiopia and around the world.
